Hotel Urdanibia Park - Irun

The place is nice, and provides everything I need, like free wi-fi in rooms, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. I remember the staff helped me with a cold drink during the heat. Highly recommend it!

The lack of a fatal staff coordinator... There I leave it, I say no more. If I let all the guests who are staying know that before they go, they should tie up all the strings and not get the surprise that I got, that I said I wanted breakfast included and then I got the surprise that I got the ticket for the breakfast separately. Another thing ... guests should bring tissues because we have been without toilet paper, the response of the receptionist was "" to have gone down to ask for it at reception "" . That's not the solution, I don't have to go down to ask for paper, I'm going on holiday. Obviously I will not recommend it to anyone anymore. That's it. The breakfasts were a bit scarce, they barely put bread for toast or assemblies. I usually find in hotels, gel, shampoo and personal hygiene accessories, not here, here you have to ask for it. It doesn't seem right either.

The hotel was impeccably clean and had friendly efficient and very friendly staff apart from the receptionist that checked us in on the first night. Had good-sized and cheap room with large terrace for dog, which we loved. The location was comfortable and unbeatable - not far from restaurant and bar and France and Spain. Also, it was 10 min drive from Hornos de Irungurutzeta.

Our experience with the restaurant was disappointing as the food was cold and lacked proper heating. Despite the hotel being full, it was annoying to see tables next to us also sending back their meals. The room we were given was located above a venue that hosted a wedding party, leading to noise that nearly disrupted our sleep until it ended by midnight.

The room is not bad, the bed is good although a bit small being a double. The cleaning's pretty good. They have a kettle with sachets of coffee, tea and camomile, which they replenish every day and for free. The hotel is in a good location to move around the area. . Parking is free although you may have trouble finding a parking space if the hotel is very crowded. It was easier when they opened the area reserved for buses.

hotel is more expensive than the other four-star hotels we've been to. rooms overlook the reception area and bar/restaurant which is an open space, leaving everything connected. means a lot of noise, as the bar / restaurant is very busy. last straw is to use the whole common area as a playground for the children, with running and shouting in the corridors. We had not seen anything like this until now. One day we tried to take a nap and it was impossible. In the bathroom there is only one bar of soap and a soap dispenser in the shower, although you can ask for whatever you need. litre and a half bottle of water costs 2. 60 euros, bit expensive, really.

The room was huge and adequate and it had central heating, a work desk and a satellite TV. Excellent service was provided here...

easy access to sightseeing and parks in the city

the hotel is situated just a short drive from the beautiful town of hondarribia, making it perfect for a weekend of exploring charming streets and enjoying the fine views at the nearby parks.

Look for the entrance through the nearby petrol stations if you're arriving late. It's not easily visible from the main road.

Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was good. The room was clean and comfortable.

The entrance to the hotel needs to be better signposted as we missed it first time because the Satnav told us we had arrived when we were at the roundabout!

Regrettably I cannot think of anything that I liked about our stay.

Everything. We were woken throughout the night by other guests arriving - the layout of the hotel made this possible. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was diabolical.

The staff were friendly enough and the breakfast option of juice, croissant and coffee was good

Appearance did not look like photo on website. One bedroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Hotel located between two busy roads. Building ugly-outside and inside. Lounge area was smoking area!

Finding the hotel is a bit of an issue. The hotel coordinates are not correct on the booking website (coordinates are for urdanibia, not the hotel). Some of the roads appear to have signs to Tryphotel but the road we arrived on didn't. There are no signs from urdanibia for "TrypHotel". Even the sign on top of the hotel just says "Hotel"!

Comfortable place, it has outstandingly accommodating staff apart from the receptionist that checked us in on the first night.
